Delivery Surcharge

Because some items are larger, these items have a delivery surcharge. The delivery surcharge is in addition to regular shipping and handling charges and will be applied at check out. The price will appear individually by each item and is included in the total for "Shipping & Handling." Delivery surcharges are excluded from Free Shipping coupons.

In-stock items usually ship within 24 hours. Production time for personalized and kit products is typically 2-5 business days. For consolidated shipping, production time is based on the item with the longest production time. Check the product page for current ship dates on an individual product. Estimated ship and delivery dates are given during checkout. Expedited shipping options (2-Day Express and Next Day Delivery) do not rush production time.

Orders for items with production time (personalized and kit products) will ship on the date indicated at time of order and arrive 3-5 business days after the ship date.

2-Day Express

Orders for in-stock items placed by 3 p.m. Eastern Time will arrive in 2 business days. Orders for in-stock items placed after 3 p.m. Eastern Time will arrive in 3 business days.
Orders for items with production time (personalized and kit products) will ship on the date indicated at time of order and arrive 2 business days after the ship date.

Next Day Delivery

Orders for in-stock items placed by 3 p.m. Eastern Time will arrive in 1 business day. Orders for in-stock items placed after 3 p.m. Eastern Time will arrive in 2 business days.

Delivery Surcharge

Customs and Duties

American Prom now charges customs, duties and taxes at the time you place your order so there are no surprise charges when your order arrives. To determine your shipping, and customs/duties fee in Canada, please refer to the chart above. Shipping charges are based on the value of the merchandise and not the number of shipments. Remember to allow for time for customs, clearance, and delivery into Canada.

We recommend that you use our "Ship When Complete" option so that as many items as possible are consolidated together for shipment, thus limiting multiple shipments. You may receive multiple boxes of merchandise. Since our shipping charges are based on the value of the merchandise and not the number of shipments, you will receive no additional charges from American Prom for these deliveries

Please allow at least 2-3 days for customs clearance plus 4-7 days for delivery. Orders will be shipped UPS and arrive anywhere from 6 - 10 business days after order has been shipped. Saturdays and Sundays are not counted as business days.
