Full-Color Imprints: Ordering Instructions

We are pleased to bring you our FREE full-color imprints for your special favors! Please read the following information below carefully as certain guidelines and restrictions apply. You may call us or e-mail us if you have any questions.

Ordering Instructions:

1. Choose a product. Only certain glassware, candles, frames, photo albums, key tags, and photo cubes are available with a full-color imprint.
2. Choose a design. We offer stock designs, or you may send us your custom design (see details below).
3. Choose a typestyle from the selection below.
   
4. Indicate typestyle, and design number, along with the design color code where applicable.
5. Indicate your wording. There is a maximum of three (3) lines of wording, with a maximum of 35 characters per line (including punctuation and spaces).
6. After we receive your order, we will send you an e-mail notifying you that your design is ready for approval. Please note: we will not begin production on your order until we receive your approval.
7. The colors shown on your e-mailed design may vary slightly from the colors that will be printed on your item, due to differences between your computer screen colors and the final printed colors. We reserve the right to choose the optimal color(s) for your wording to provide the best design.
8. We will e-mail you a proof of your completed design. After you receive it, you may make one round of copy changes.
9. Once we receive final approval for your design, we will begin production on your order. At this time, please allow 10 days for production time plus shipping.
   

PLEASE NOTE:

• Metallic imprints are available only on the following designs: 104, 105, 120, 122, and 124. Metallic imprints are not available on the photo cube.
• We must have an e-mail address in order to send you the design for your approval.
• We reserve the right to choose the optimal color(s) for your copy to provide the best design.

Stock Designs:

1. Prices shown on the pages where multi-color imprint items are sold include the charge for the full-color stock design (unless otherwise noted).
2. You may not change any copy that is included in a stock design (this is typically the wording “Prom 2009” or “2009”). Designs that have copy that cannot be changed are: 101, 103, 105, 108, 116, 118, and 120 (Asian characters).
3. After you receive your stock design via e-mail, you may make one round of copy and typestyle changes at no charge. 

Custom Designs:

1. All images will be reproduced as they are submitted.
2. We cannot reproduce registered, copyrighted, trademarked or professional images (unless a copyright release is submitted with a photographer, studio, or artist’s signature). We reserve the right to request a copyright release at any time.
3. As with stock designs, we will e-mail you the design for your approval. Please note: We will not begin production on your order until we received your approval.
4. All photos and illustrations submitted cannot be returned and will become the property of American Prom.

Photo Guidelines

• The original photo size must be at least 3” x 3”
• For best results, please submit photos with sharp images and good contrast
• No alterations of any kind will be made to the images, including, but not limited to, restoration and color adjustment. However, we reserve the right to crop images to create an optimal imprint when necessary.

Illustration Guidelines

• For best results, please submit good quality, full-color illustrations.

How To Submit A Custom Design

You may submit your custom design to us via e-mail or regular mail.

1. Via E-mail:
   1. After you place your order at AmericanProm.com, please e-mail your design to artwork@americanprom.com
      1. The design must be at least 300 DPI (600 is preferred) in any of the following file types: JPEG, TIF or EPS.
   2. In your e-mail, please include the following:
      1. your name and school name (if applicable)
      2. your order number
      3. a daytime phone number and the best time to reach you
      4. please indicate that your design is for a full-color imprint
   3. If your e-mail does not include all of the necessary details, we will be unable to proceed with your order. We will send you a return e-mail requesting the missing information.
       
2. Via Regular Mail:
   1. Please complete the order form below.
