I made table toppers by finishing just the 2 raw sides for our event - easy to work with; provided great contrast for our red, black, silver, colored theme! Made the tables look so formal & elegant. The only way the supplier could improve on this is to have it rolled nicer on the tube - some of the super scrunched areas didn't iron out well, but over all, can't beat the effect for the price!

I used the black satin as a table cover for a long banquet table at prom. Then used the white satin roll as a table runner and bunched it up and ran it down the middle. Made a very elegant presentation!

A:
This satin is not completely see-thru but if a light is placed behind the material you would be able to see a little. Placement is all a factor when taking photos to eliminate a reflection.Answered on 2/27/2012 by csr
