For almost every Prom, music is the most important factor in the atmosphere and mood of the evening.  The two main choices for Prom music is either a dj or a live band. Typically if you choose a dj, your music will consist of top 40 songs, great dance music, and some classic popular songs of the ages.  If you go with a live band, you have the option of creating a more formal, classy event by having a jazz band or a group that performs more sophisticated music.  Once you decide on what type of atmosphere you would like to have, here are some guidelines on finding the perfect source of music for your Prom night.
